Discrepancy in Inventory Logs || Square And Commentsold

What is the shop or customer experiencing? Shop reported there is a discrepancy for inventory logs for Square and Commentsold which leads to overselling, when checking the inventory logs in Commentsold we found that they exchanged an item and then variant added back to inventory, however as per the order there is no exchange being made on it.
The shop stated it happened several times in the last two weeks.
What is the expected behavior?Inventory levels should sync accurately across platforms. Restock events should only trigger when a return, or exchange is legitimately processed.
What error messages are there? There is no error message

What settings were checked? We have checked the inventory logs for few items in Commentsold and Shopify( screenshots asked from the Shop)
