Duplicate SKU" error on product CSV import despite empty Deleted Products section
What is the shop or customer experiencing: The shop is unable to upload a product CSV file. Even though the products are not visible in the store admin, the system blocks the upload by claiming the SKUs already exist and the bulk deleted products are not showing up. This happened after the shop previously uploaded these products, noticed missing data, deleted them all, and tried to re-upload the corrected file to start fresh. What is the expected behavior: Since the products were deleted, they should show in the deleted products tab. What error messages are there: Error Message: Duplicate SKU / SKU already taken Did you replicate: Yes. * Live Shop: Uploading the shop's CSV directly to their live dashboard consistently reproduces the "Duplicate SKU" error. Test Shop: The exact same CSV file uploads successfully with zero errors on a separate test shop, proving the CSV file structure and data are valid. However, if we are deleting the products in bulk then after they are not showing up in the deleted product tab. Due to which while re-importing the CSV it's giving duplicate SKU error and if we are searching it's not showing any product with that SKU. What settings were checked: Checked the Deleted Products section in the shop dashboard to ensure products are not there. The section is completely empty. Import Settings: Attempted to re-upload the file using the Overwrite option to force-bypass the conflict, but the system still rejected it. Provide examples, sku, order #, customer names, and screenshots where possible. Impacted Data: All SKUs contained within the shop's attached CSV file.
