Refund amount not matching amount paid due to coupon

please please please fix this!!! Customer purchased several items. some that were able to use the coupon, and some that are not. She returned an item that was NOT valid for the coupon, and we cannot issue the correct amount to her as it is factoring the coupon into the refund amount. PLEASE FIX! We have this issue almost DAILY!

Shop would like our system to catch which coupon codes apply to which items in an order - Shop is having to manually calculate refund amounts when products are returned that customers have used a coupon to purchase.
In this example - for Shop Shoes Etc - Order #10544 - Customer returned product 7625566617835 which they had used a coupon for, and was discounted $14.40. When Shop goes to refund item - the system provides the full retail price of the product, rather than what the customer actually paid.

When refunding an item in an order with a coupon applied, the coupon is incorrectly taken into account on the refund amount for a product that wasn't eligible for the coupon.

Shop refunded an order that contained a coupon and a store credit. Item was priced at $52 before the 20% coupon and store credit were applied. Refund automatically calculated was not the correct amount.

When a customer has an order with a coupon- the coupon code is distributed to all items even if they were not eligible.
