Hello Dawn,
I hope all is well. Thank you for your patience regarding these issues. I have done some further investigation.
So all of the issues that we discussed are related. It all boils down to the customer records not being created when orders are imported via the CommentSold API. I have reached out to our API team and have confirmed that your CommentSold order logs show that the "CustomerUsername" attribute was left blank. This would explain why the customer records were never being made.
You can find more details on that field from our Order Models page here:
https://www.shipstation.com/docs/api/models/order/
This should be an easy fix on CommentSold's end. I would just request that they include the customer's email address in the "CustomerUsername" attribute.
The same goes for any CSV that you try to upload to create customer records. I noticed in the CSV you sent me in our chat, the Username field was either blank or it contained the items for "address line 2" for that same customer. I would recommend just copying and pasting their email address into the "username" column. That should resolve that particular issue as well.
I hope this helps. Should you need anything else, please do not hesitate to reach back out. Have a wonderful weekend.
Best,
Raymond D.
