Shop unable to update/edit inventory count and image for a variant

What is the shop or customer experiencing: The shop is reporting a critical inventory update issue. When attempting to update a product variant using the ‘+’ icon, the system triggers a 'Successfully Updated' notification; however, the inventory count immediately resets to '0' instead of reflecting the added stock.
The shop is also reporting that variant image associations are broken. When they try to update or match a picture to a specific variant, the system does not process the update, leaving the variants without the correct visual reference.
What is the expected behavior: Inventory count should be added/updated after adding count and clicking on save button.
What error messages are there: No error messages.
Did you replicate: Yes, I have replicated on my side after locate the product and then go to the inventory section and click on '+' icon in front of the variant and add the count.
What settings were checked: Product details and deleted variants.
