What is the shop or customer experiencing: Shop reported that products are coming from Square and then SKU has been changed automatically here in CS.
What is the expected behavior: Looks like the product was created in Square without a sku (May 18th, 2026 11:35 AM) and a sku was added in Square after it had already synced over to CS (May 18th, 2026 1:13 PM). But it does appear that if you change the sku in Square it changes the sku in CS but not to match - it just randomly generates a new one and it is not expected behavior at all.
What error messages are there: No error message.
Did you replicate: Yes, team tested on their sandbox account to confirm.
What settings were checked: Product details and Square dashboard screenshot of the product.
Provide examples, sku, order #, customer names, and screenshots where possible.
