Confirm there are not already settings or features that do what the shop is asking for.

Right now, the system only allows one coupon code per order. There are no built-in settings we can just flip on to change this

They want customers to be able to use multiple discount codes at the same time at checkout

Why/how would it improve sales or efficiency?

Fewer abandoned carts: Customers won't get frustrated and leave without buying just because they have to pick between two good deals.

Bigger orders: People will often add more items to their cart if they know they can get rewarded with multiple discounts at once.

Easier marketing: The store can run different sales at the same time (like a holiday discount plus a special email promo code) without the checkout process getting complicated.
