Confirm there are not already settings or features that do what the shop is asking for.- Confirmed. While the Inventory Log displays manual adjustments and reason codes on-screen, there is currently no option to export or download this data as a CSV. The downloadable Inventory Snapshots only show starting and ending balances without isolating manual removals or adjustment reasons (e.g., stolen or damaged items).
What does the shop want the product to do:- The shop wants an export/download feature added to the Inventory Log (or a dedicated downloadable CSV report under Reporting > CSV) that includes:
Manual inventory count adjustments
- The specific reason codes entered by the merchant (e.g., "Stolen," "Damaged," "Written Off")
- Date, time, and item details for each adjustment
Why/how would it improve sales or efficiency:- Time Savings & Efficiency: Eliminates the tedious, manual work of calculating variance across multiple Inventory Snapshot CSVs or manually copying data off the screen.
- Accurate Accounting & Tax Reporting: Allows shops to quickly pull downloadable shrinkage and theft logs required for tax write-offs, end-of-year audits, and financial reporting.
- Better Inventory Insights: Helps merchants easily identify shrinkage trends and track lost inventory to make informed purchasing and security decisions.
