The shop is currently unable to scan their products during a live sale in CS using the scanning feature because they are using Shopify-generated barcodes. Currently, the live sale scanner only recognizes CommentSold-generated barcodes. If a shop tries to scan a label that was printed from Shopify (even if the product is synced), the system does not recognize the item.

The scanning tool used during a live sale in CS should be able to recognize and map Shopify barcodes to the corresponding product in the CommentSold inventory. This would allow the shop to scan their existing Shopify labels to bring up products on the screen, without needing to reprint new labels from CommentSold.

Shops syncing from Shopify often have thousands of items already labeled. Forcing them to re-print and re-label every item with a CS barcode just to use the scanner during a live sale is a massive operational burden.
