This says complete but i'm not so sure it's working for me.. will it only do this on the actual cart when I publish my new site.. or is there something I need to do to set the images to the options (which would make sense, but I'm not seeing this - yet.. in one of my multi-choice color items)

Many customers look at the image attached to the product in their order and if they the default image is different, they contact the boutique confused about their orders

Curious.. how long ago did this go under review? Wondering cause i see it was started over 2 years ago so, hoping for updates! I noticed the colors don't show up even in the back office in an order record and wished it did. I can see how customers would get confused by the pic not matching what they are ordering 😀

Also if they can make it so that it pulls the variant photos from Shopify in the Shopify/CS integration. This is a huge issue only showing the defualt photo

Brandon Kruse: Yesssss!! I am so happy!! This lacking ability is KILLING me in fulfillment errors! I have trained, and triple-checked orders at pulling, packaging, and printing, with initials required at each check, and I STILL have errors! And every one of them is because the variant pulled was the variant in the photo. (Not to mention the new customers who still contact me about items in their cart being wrong because the photo isn't visually a match.
I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but I am SOOOOO looking forward to this change! I really think it will eliminate 99% of my fulfillment errors. Thank you very much for looking into this!
(And before you suggest it, my Bar-coding equipment is ordered! This feature, and bar-coding should be a one-two punch to my problems!)

Brandon Kruse: Any chance this is nearing production? 90% of my errors in fulfillment are still attributable to packing slip image not matching variant.
