What is the shop or customer experiencing? A purchasing customer is unable to complete checkout when attempting to use a specific Referral Coupon Code. Upon investigation, the issue is caused by the Referrer (the owner of the code): The Referrer’s account is generating and displaying a Referral Code even though they have no address saved on their file. When the customer tries to use this code, they are getting the error on checkout.
What is the expected behavior? The system should not generate or display a Referral Code for a customer until they have input a valid address on their account. If the address is required for validation during the redemption process, the code should not be available to share until that requirement is met.
What error messages are there? There was a problem creating your order
Did you replicate? Yes, verified the account state.
What settings were checked? Customers Tab > Customer Details, Customer tried the different payment methods like credit card and apple pay but getting the same error.
